Multi megapixel photo of Palma de Mallorca and surrounding areas seen from Es Verger in March 2008

This multimegapixel photo of Palma de Mallorca has been taken from the hills at Es Verger in March 2008. It is also a partial panorama, as it covers a region as far as Palma to Esporles. The photo is made up from more than 200 individual pictures and the final resolution is a whopping 677 megapixel at 79486x8519 pixels.

As you can see, it is possible to zoom in very deeply and see details which you can hardly identify with the bare eye. You will be able to spot individual buildings all over the photo.  

Shooting was difficult because of fast moving clouds that caused shadows in different areas.
