One of the most typical things about Mallorca are the markets in cities and towns all over the island. Each day of the week
there are about a dozen of markets where you cannot only get fruits, vegetables and cheese but also flowers, clothers, animals, sunglasses
and a lot of other products.
The markets have their own flair and you should really try to negotiate the price which can be real fun. While you can certainly get some
products cheaper in stores in Palma de Mallorca, there are other items which you may not be able to find in stores at all.
Some markets are known for the pieces of art you can obtain and sometimes you can really find little treasures. So keep your eyes wide
open and do not hesitate to ask when you see an item you are interested in.
